Village of Sugarcreek Municipal Income Tax

It’s the time of the year to prepare, and file income tax forms with Federal, State, and Local tax agencies. The Regional Income Tax Agency (RITA) will be administering the collection and processing of our local income tax for individual residents and businesses. This year a new online process seeks to streamline the task for most taxpayers. Instead of printing out forms and mailing or faxing, the available E-File in MyAccounts makes the process quick and easy.  All Village residents 18 and older must file a return if they have taxable income, whether or not they owe any additional tax. Seniors who do not have any taxable income should file a one time Individual Declaration of Exemption. Forms are available at the Village Hall, Library, and online at Customer service representatives can be reached at 1-800-860-7482 to answer any questions.

NOTICE : Update 15 April 2014

For those who have been unable to connect with the Agency, tax filings postmarked or electronically transmitted by Monday, April 21, 12:00 midnight will not be assessed penalty or interest for late filing.

The Village of Sugarcreek Water Dept. is planning a water service interruption to begin at 2:00 PM, Thursday February 13th 2014 for a valve repair. The interruption should last about 2 hours, however, service will be restored as soon as possible. This interruption of service should not result in a Boil Alert. The area that may be affected will be bordered by Yoder Ave to the north, Pleasant Valley St to the east, Fifth St to the west, and Hickory Dr to the south. Not everyone in the area will lose service, this is the general area we expect to be affected. We appreciate everyone’s patience while we complete this important repair.
