As winter weather continues through the season, please take note of the following information.
If you need to report a power outage, please click AEP Ohio, our village’s electric provider. You can also call their toll free number at (800) 277-2177. In addition, the AEP site provides information for what to do in your home in the event of a power outage. You may find this information helpful.
Street Department employees and their Superintendent, Matt Miller, are prepared for what lays ahead this winter. If you have a waterline break or other issue please contact our village offices immediately

November: Thank You Vets.
Posted November 9, 2009 by Dick Rausch, Mayor Jeremiah Johnson, Zach Lint
November is always a busy month, but I want to take the time to thank all 705 of the registered voters that voted on election day, and I want to thank all of our country’s great veterans for giving us that right to vote through their service.
On Wednesday November 11, 2009 all village offices will be closed in observation of Veterans Day and the offices will again be closed on Thanksgiving.
There are many events that take place in Sugarcreek during the month of November so mark your calendars and plan on joining us on the 27th for our annual Christmas on the Square, and annual candle lighting ceremony, and then on the 28th its Breakfast with Santa at 8am at the Sugarcreek United Methodist Church.

Posted October 14, 2009 by Dick Rausch, Mayor Jeremiah Johnson, Zach Lint
October is going by fast and despite the rain, a good day on Saturday Oct. 2 gave those who looked forward to the Ohio Swiss Festival a chance to get out and see what this year had to offer. Thanks goes out to all the entertainers, visitors, village employees and planners who continue to work to make the festival a success year after year.
Meanwhile, we have a number of important dates and items going on yet this month and I want to make a note of them here: Read more
