Happy 2010 to Everyone
It’s hard to believe how quickly time goes and that 2009 is already over. Our 2009 festival was another premier event, even though the weather didn’t totally cooperate with us. Despite the weather, we were still able to hold our usual attractions. We greatly appreciate everyone who helped to make the 2009 festival one to remember.
2010 begins my third year as Ohio Swiss Festival President. Every year we try to improve on the previous festival. This year will be no different. Work on the 2010 festival began almost as soon as the 2009 festival ended.
As we continue to look forward to this year’s festival, we remain committed to our proud Swiss heritage, Swiss cheese industries and our village. Our festival has a lot to offer and we would like to share it with you in 2010. Don’t miss out on activities for the whole family! The wine and cheese tent, craft tent, queen’s contests, free entertainment, rides, stone throw, concessions, Kiddies Parade and Grand Parade will all return in 2010. There are so many things going on during the week it is hard to mention all of them here!
As you celebrate the coming of a new year, don’t forget to start planning your trip to the little Switzerland of Ohio the fourth weekend after Labor day(September 29th – October 2nd). Keep checking this site for more details on entertaiment schedules and updated festival information.
